Packed, for sure, but I'm not sure about ready. I'll try to not be anxious and let everyone do things for me. I really hate that I have a hard time with anxiety now. Everyone is so excited, and I am too. I just let too many things run through my mind that "might" go wrong.
We'll leave at 10:00 tomorrow morning and pick the girls up at school then. The flight leaves around noon but not quite sure when. I have the luxury of not having to know those things. As long as I have my ID and that new Enhanced Driver's License, I should be fine. And all my liquids in little bottle!
I got my hair cut this morning, and it was such a surprise to find out the one who cuts my hair is also flying tomorrow and to Houston, then New Orleans and then Alabama! What are the chances of that? She's leaving super early, so we're not on the same plane. She's visiting Enterprise, Alabama, where one of her friends has family. They're going to spend several days in the area and wanted to know some exciting landmarks near there. I just went blank, since I don't know her interests. Jokingly, I asked if she liked country music - she does - and told her the Hank Williams Museum is not too far away. She was excited and wrote down the name of the town. I also mentioned boiled peanuts. I don't know if it's the season for them or not, but if it is, we'll be stopping at the roadside stands a lot ourselves. Beth already knows about the Boll Weevil statue in Enterprise but not why. I was able to fill her in on my version of why there's a statue of a bug there. I hope they have a good time.
I'll have pictures starting tomorrow and will try to post something every day. Right now, I'm exhausted from running around and getting last-minute things done, so I need to sleep.
