It's Been a Long Week

It won't excite Stella, but I got these interesting little packets in the mail yesterday. I appreciate good advertising, and this caught my eye. The "coffee" was so realistic I actually thought it had spilled out in the envelope. Click on the picture to see why. We like Taster's Choice for instant coffee anyway, and I'm looking forward to trying these.

Emily, Ryan, and Karen are nearly home. Em called from somewhere in Washington about an hour ago, a scenic overlook where they had gotten out to stretch and walk the dogs around. I think they deserve to see something pretty. I found I-90 on Google Maps and took my little man and put him on the highway. The trip across South Dakota, Montana, and the little bit of Idaho was 1000 miles of - well nothing. I'm sure it's more interesting in person, but I imagine that scenery got old pretty fast. No trees.

So I just called, and they're 15 minutes from Issaquah. They're getting excited, and I'm very relieved.

Nearly 2800 miles away. I have a feeling I'd better learn to like to fly.

Glad that Emily had a good trip. Can't wait to see more pics.
