End of August

I'm glad. I like September. And October.

Those are good months.

Just to get in the mood, here are some pictures of former autumns in Greensboro and Columbus.

For a break from the late summer heat, don't forget to check out Sherry and Davids trip to Alaska. No kitties this time. Lots of funny and interesting pictures and commentary.
And finally from someone who has a hard time walking without tripping on something, I was pretty impressed with this video sent to Mike by Gaby and Dina. Don't try this at home.

  2. Beautiful season!! In here the trees dont get orange but the weather is warm and windy. Here are pumpkins but the most part are green, we call this kind: "Ayotes". My mom loves to cook it on small pieces with dark sugar, cinnamon sticks, fat pepper, some ginger on a liter of water. Very, very yummy. Maybe you can try it, doesn´t matter the kind of the pumpkin, all of them are tasty.

  3. Yes! But not too cool. I hate cold, cold weather - so I'm happy weather-wise about 4 months!

Gaby, sounds delicious, the ayote. The pumpkins we have are pretty big and messy, and I don't like dealing with them. I probably could find some smaller ones - or even ayotes - in the grocery store. I'll look.
